DESCRIPTION
'The Faerie Queene' by Edmund Spenser. One of the classic texts of the English Renaissance, 'The Faerie Queen' had a tremendous impact. This is a good quality text, free of any scribbling or annotation by me. It is a second edition of the scholarly 'Longman Annotated English Poets' edition, edited by A.C. Hamilton. It is the recommended edition for many university courses; the text itself is in an easy to read font, and is supplemented by helpful footnotes. This texts sells for £18 on Amazon: I am making it available for £11. This would be an ideal purchase for a forward looking student who will be studying any aspect of the English Renaissance.
